I'm looking to buy an 05' vehicle from an online site. I'm worried it might be a car from New Orleans and its had flooding. I remember the news telling consumers there may be such a scam. What can I do the check its not from that disaster area? Will carfax tell me that info, if what should I look for in the report? Thanks.

I paid off my car in 2000, and got the title in the mail. I put it away not realizing that I needed to go to the notary with it, I just assumed that I was paid off and signed off by the finance co., it was mine. I want to sell the car now, and just pulled out the title. I know I need to get this in my name before I sell. Will there be any consequences now that so much time has gone by?

BTW, I am in PA.

I found a Nissan Sentra with 100,000 miles and its only $3,900... the dealer says whatever my mechanic finds wrong with it he will pay to have fixed! I was trying to find a car with less miles but dont feel like spending the 6thousand i have safed up on a used car. SHould i buy it?

Anyone own or know someone with an Acura Integra. I know yall are familiar with the body style change that came after '93. And then every Integra after that looked like the one made in '94. I'm looking for opinions overall on how it runs, gas, style, and how well your Integra has stayed running good with you without problems. He's looking for a hot car and generally cheap like a lot of Integras are.

I am a lousy driver. I admit it. I need a car that's responsive so when I do something idiotic on the road, I have time to respond. A hyundai accent. 2001.
A dealer sold it to my mom withot her knowing of it being in a wreck. It has also not been reported because it comes up clean in the carfax report. I discovered this a couple weeks after her purchase.
