i was out running at full speed everything was fine then my engine stalled i checked the gas it was 1/2 tank and motor started back up fine started running again it stalls. recently i replaced the bulge pump for the fuel line from tank to motor i noticed this doesn't become firm when being pumped. could this be my problem? is it bc not enough fuel being supplied due to air coming in from bulge pump? could it be something else? i was able to drive back in but at a slow speed and i had to pump the bulge pump when ever the engine statred to stall then it ran again? i also noticed the battery cables to the engine became very warm is this normal?

A sales guy at my marina says my inboard diesel is sucking the crankcase oil and actually burning that and not the diesel. He is wrong but I am curious about what temp 30wt oil ignites.

We have seen a boat with a jet ski in it..When you get out in the middle of the water you can remove the jet ski for a ride and the boat will just float there. I am interested in one but don't know who makes them or what they are called. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

my boat was in great condition other than a small oil leak that i told him to check the oil before he used it i had just had it rebuilt last year and there was only 40 hrs on the motor.
since the day wiich was fathers day that he borrowed it i went on a road trip to canada with him and his truck run hot he would not pull over and put water in it he drove it til it was trashed.he was still under warranty.my boat is a 79 sea ray w/ 454-pachanga and i treated it like it was a baby.i really trusted this person to take care of it but since i realized how he treated his own truck i now know he trashed my boat is there a law that if it breaks you fix it does anybody know about this and what do i need to do.he won't take responsibility for it.i know i messed up loaning out my boat and dont even think i haven't kicked myself in the butt alot since the insident but i need some advice.i paid 12,000.00 and put 4500.00 in this boat what can i do to make him help fix it is he legally responsile?
