I took my car in for an oil change and the place had a field day looking over the car.

They said the car needed two new tires, including one that would have failed inspection because it was driven on while flat. It also needed to be realigned, have a coolant flush, and a transmission flush.

How urgent are these problems and which should I do first?

After attending schools like Midway Aviators, Phoenix East, or any others like that?
I keep hearing that YOU need college degree+3-4000 flight hours to be hired by any major companies and/or Airlines <
Will the Coast Guard , or Air National Guard be interested in a Pilot from those(or similar) schools ,,,,, maybe the P.A.C.????
I'm kicking the Idea of Army Warrant Officer Pilot training, BUT I don't want to go to war , and I definitely don't want to kill anyone ..... Help Protect the HOME (U.S.) from within the borders, shores, or do some Search and Rescue, now that is a great way to earn a paycheck ...+ Talk about job satisfaction!!!!
I would like to hear from people who have or had experience in this sort of thing?!

>>>>Thank You all for good answers in advance!!!!!!!

So I recently broke my timing belt, and it's currently sitting at the mechanic's shop being worked on. He called me about 15 minutes ago and he told me that he got everything put back on, but the engine will not turn over. Does anyone know if perhaps there is some time of sensor that could have disabled the engine from firing after breaking a timing belt? Could my after-market alarm have something to do with this? When I roll out of the throttle or down shift it wants to spit and back fire a lil. The spark plugs seem fine. Just to let you know if it helps its a 97 with a carb. Its only been doing this for about 3 or 4 weeks. Also if I leave the choke half out it does not do it at all. So if anyone knows anything that will help that would be great.I have to get it to stop bc the back fire is harmfull to the motor and it sounds bad lol. Thanks

The cam says it has .465/.488 at 1.5 ratio, so to find out how much it would be with 1.6 rockers i took .488 / 1.5 then multiplied by 1.6. this = 5.2053333

The heads i am using say they can handle up to .520 lift.
Am i going to have a problem with the .0053333333 lift that is above the maximum .520?

Someone is offering me his Toyota Camry 1998 LE V6. Apart from the standard features, it has sun-roof, moon-roof, leather interiors and Sony MP3 player. Engine is good. Few minor scratches on the car body. KBB values the car at 6165/ 5650/ 5015 for excellent/ good/ fair conditions with the above mentioned data.

I am going to be the fifth owner. Also, the car was involved in an accident in 2004 and the owner involved in that accident told me that the car slipped on the road due to heavy snow and banged into other cars. Damage happened to the doors, front and most importantly, to the frame of the car. Owner told me that everything was fixed well and it cost him $6000. Car hasn’t given any problem since.

KBB obviously does not account for the accident and 5th owner thing. What would be your suggestions on how much should I buy the car for (the current owner is offering 5100).

SO, my friends parents leased a car and they have about 3 years left on the lease. The problem is is that they are way over the mileage on the lease contract. They are supposed to be at about 26,000 miles right now, but instead they are at 30,000! For every 100 miles they are over they have to pay an extra $100 dollars, and by the time the lease is up they will probably owe about 10 grand! My question is, is there a way that you can stop the lease and just buy the car so they won't end up paying an extra $10,000 or more just to give it back to the dealer in 3 years?

Does this sound like an ignition coil. and if it is, how is it removed? I can't even get in to see size of bolts ... any help appreciated. If anyone know socket size needed let me know

Long story short, a friend owed me a little money, so he gave me a Honda CR250 that he got from someone that owed him money...

Anyway, 2 problems I see with it..

1. I can't kickstart it. The lever won't even budge.

2. If I put it in gear & then pull in the clutch, it is VERY hard to push. It should be easy to push if the clutch is releasing, right?

For the amount he owes me, I could part it out on eBay, but I'm curious about what's wrong with it & how much it would cost to get it to run again.

Thanks in advance !

I'll ask a question about what speakers/amd/subs/wires i should get and everyone seems to have their own opinion about what is the best.

Some of the things I have heard::
-The W7 is great!
-The W7 is overpriced
-The W7 is not that great
-JL is overrated
-JL components are great!
-JL components aren't that good
-JL components can handle a lot of power
-Focal is the best
-Polk SR series over Focal!
-Audiobhan's top of th line is great
-Boston acoustics top end components = da best!
-Boston's G5 sounds better than a W7 Subwoofer!
-W3 sounds great, I'd get that over G5!
-Alpine/Soundtream/Kenwood/Boston/JL/Focal/Kicker/etc makes the best amps!

I give up!

So now after all of that plus researching I'm stuck on Focal k3p or Polk SR + 6x9s for regualr speakers and probably the bostonm G5104 x 2 for subs. How did I do? And why does everyone disagree and think everything they have is the absolute best? I hear people driving by on the street and their system sounds all

I went on vacation and had to take out my amp and subs. When I was re-installing them, everything was working and then I went to route the speaker wire to the sub box and I think they made contact with a ground causing the amp to go into protection mode. My question is how do I reset the amp or correct this problem. I tried replacing the speaker wire. I checked all the connections and none of the settings changed. Anyone?
