Just wondering what made you buy the Chevy over the Toyota. Specifics please.

I wanted to make a few more points: Toyota does NOT get better gas mileage than the Chevy/GMC, and the tow rating is the combination of truck and trailer, and even then only comes out at 10,000lbs when they run 4.30 gears (killing mileage).

i did a comparison. i do not believe the toyota's tow rating is true. i've heard that when they say it can tow 10,000 lbs, they are including the weight of the truck. My chevy is the most capable truck out there. Not to mention it has gone over 200,000 miles without a problem.

The 2007 chevy silverado is the motor trend truck of the year.Why did i need to drive a second rate truck like the tundra.My new chevy will pull more and last longer than any toyota junk.

but toyota is giving the good mileage but i do not like the looks for tundra it is looking ugly
