I think it is good for Ford because, they need all the good publicity they can get. Ford is realizing that in order to compete in this international automotive business it is going to have to step up on quality big time. It is good that Ford is concentrating on the quality of their vehicles because, there was a time there for a while that they weren't exactly known for good quality. I am sure you remember the Ford jokes.. What does FORD stand for?? Fix Or Repair Daily. or Found On Road Dead. Ford needs to sell cars and having a reputation for having quality vehicles will help them compete with GM, Toyota, VW and Honda etc... So kudos to Ford and hopefully they will continue to produce good quality vehicles to help get them out of this financial mess they are in right now. Thanks and have a great day.

Ford is finally learning that quality and fuel economy is champ.. but most of that initial quality is from the 500 and fusion.. both I barely see or work on.. edge is another one.
But then my area is more of a truck country.. and surprisingly the new diesel is not the headache as the 6.0 was....

well it is great and it wasn't too long ago they tied with toyota I believe in 1998 so quality has been there in the past too. I have only owned Fords and have to drive others at work and so on and I am definitely glad I own Fords(first on race day) especially last weekend, swept the entire weekend trucks, arca, busch and cup race.

Ford rules!!! This is good news to tell all those people who are obsessed with Japanese cars and all they say is how good they are compared to domestics. Looks like they need a change of mind this time.
