if i have a 97 model car with an ecu computer, is there anything i need to know before disconnecting the battery?

Also, a clicking sound just started and clicks faster as I speed up? I would like to know what that is as well. I drive a 2003 maxima and I'm trying to do a basic cost. Please help.

What would the auto industry do if people all around the world “Stop buying or leasing NEW gasoline powered cars”? Would they wait to go bankrupt? Would they try selling different cars, like the Chevy Volt or the Ford Edge with HySeries Drive? And how long would it take? 3 months, 6 months, a year?

I heard that there is some way to get how many miles the Jeep Wrangler has on it even if the odometer is broken. Is this true or there is no way to get a reading?

I bought a motorcycle from a guy who did not have the cycles title at the time. He said he needed to apply for it. After three months of promises he tells me the title was not in his name, it was in someone elses and that person died, so he's having a hard time getting it. I have numerous e-mails from this guy stating his son was driving this bike all last year (without a license?) and in each one it appears he is the current owner. He lives in Iowa, I live in Wisconsin. With all my e-mails, how hard is it to sue him? I was also told it is illegal just to try and sell a motorcycle without a tittle. Help!

i want to purchase a company vehicle here in the UK. we are a polish registered company and ready to start a contract in Spain. Can we legally purchasethis vehicle and register it for road tax and insurance etc. But still put it through the books.

...if the other party decides to get rid of the wrecked car and get a new one, why don't you (the one who caused the accident) get to keep it? I mean, you pay for the car insurance, and your car insurance pays for them another car....so shouldn't YOU own it?

my new fatboy I bought in feb. has taken a crap I have 3800 miles on the clock and the oil pump has gone out. the brilliant dealer mech. has told me because i have used synthetic oil my motor has crapped. The reason you ask. Synthetic oil is too slippery for the oil pump!!!! I have never heard such a retarded answer from a so called profesional. They say crap like that and charge 85 dollars an hour. I have well over 150000 miles on hondas, kawi's,suzuki's,aprilia's,yamaha's and have never had a problem. THey wont warranty my bike and it's three months old totally stock. I was talked into a harley by all my friends and had second thoughts. Why did i buy that piece o crap.

I am tired of the hight price of gas. If you ask me the gas people are stealing from us, with the low rate payment I have a work I don't know what to do anymore.

How much is the gas in your country or whatever you live at, and what do you think we should do to lower prices?

Thisis a serious problem It is $3.65 gallon where I live in Michigan this morning.

No apparent reason, just came on one day. My buddy has a computer that you can hook up to your rig and trouble shoot it - changed some fuses and tinkered around with things but had no luck. He thought it might be brake dust build up on whatever sensor that initiates the light - but haven't found or seen anything like that yet from underneath the rig? Would really like to cure the problem, without paying for a cure through the nose, we all know how that goes. I think the ABS light is also making the check engine light stay on - at least my thought. Have had it in for it's 75000 mile check up and they said all looked well - but it wasn't at a ford Dealer. Guess I should have paid the money and done it right with Ford - that is my current awnser - you got a better one?

its not the boot or n e thing else in or on my car......the sub rattles (the cone i believe) wen i turn the volume up,,,its a ported box,,,,(n no it wasnt made for that sub) .........the subs are screwed right down firmily to the box....so y is it rattling n wat can i do to reduce the rattling without buying or makin a new box,,cuz i aint gona...( my sub isnt sounding as clear and clean as it shud be........)

I have just started driving lessons and i would just like someone to explain to me about the clutch and the breaks, every time you have your foot on the break do you have to push right down on the clutch, or just when your totally break the car?
