Today as I was on my way home a woman trying to avoid potholes was driving on my side of the road, heading straight toward me. She came from up over a hill, going very fast. She didn't just occasionally move over to avoid one pothole, she claimed the whole lane. My boyfriend was driving, its a very narrow road, no shoulder, no moving into the other lane because there were people driving in it, our driveway is near the top of the hill. So we slowed as much as possible until the frantic honking drove her back to her lane. She was screaming and swearing at us! I didn't get her plates. So my question? If you are driving and someone is in your lane heading straight for you, and they hit you, can they use the potholes as a defense, or should they have driven on their side regardless? I would hope she would be at fault simply for being in the wrong lane because it seems like just because you don't like your side of the road doesn't mean you get to drive like an idiot.

son blewout a 215/50/15 we found a 205/55/15 in VGcondition at a junk yard.( As a quick fix till he gets the cash)Can we use this tire on the same axle???He is currently using the doughnut spare. thankx

Looking for a deep tone muffler for a 1998 explorer 5.0. Now I know some of you are gonna say just buy an after cat setup and i will tell you they don't exsist. This thing has a real goofy exhasut set up, and it has a muffler that thas dual 2 1/4 inch inlets and a 2 1/2 inch single outlet. If anyone knows where I can just get a straignt bolt in muffler to make this thing sound better please let me know

I own a rather old Volvo, '85 model.....car has been fine for 2 yrs since I bought it from a friend, except today smoke was coming out of hood and really bad rattling noise...I am at work now and can't do anything for it at the moment, but I am looking for a heads up on what problem might be and how to get it fixed asap?Haven't had oil changed in awhile, could this be related to the problem?

Hi guys. my car was fine when i left it at night. didnt start in the morning. just gives a click click sound and thats it. engine is dead. battery died overnight somehow and i used a starter but useless. Can any one help me out??? electricals are working ok but no life in engine

'96 Plymouth Grand Voyager. When I reach a speed of 35, it feels like it's going to fall apart at the seams. It stays that way until I reach a speed of 50, then it stops. It has been determined that the tires and wheels are fine. I don't need transmission fluid, the steering wheel does not vibrate, and I don't need a front end alignment. I did just have a back shock fall off, (the original) but after replacement of two shocks, this problem did not get better or worse. I can't explain the feeling, except maybe to say it feels like both front tires are coming off the rims, or I'm running over a few deer. Again, tires, rims, etc have already been checked. Can you solve the mystery? It's a 3.3, and has almost 170 thousand miles on it, with regular maintenance and care by the same mechanic, that I completely trust. Also, it has run out of gas twice recently, even though both times, the gas gauge says over a 1/8 of a tank. At 1/4 of a tank, it starts feeling like it doesn't want to run.
