It is a 20 year old car that you haven't maintained properly and now you have probably blown head gasket, a valve or worse. Time for a new car, it will cost more than the car is worth to fix it.

Go out and check the oil level in your car. If the level is a low this could be something as simple as it's leaking a little oil around the valve cover, which drips down onto the exhaust manifold from time to time so it smokes a little. The smoke should go away after you drive for a minute or two.
If the smoke is persistent then check and see if you can see where exactly it is smoking from while the car is running.
Last but not least, are you sure it's smoke, and not steam? You might be overheating. If the car started to do this after it had been running for quite awhile this is a possiblity as well. Check your coolant level when you go back out to your car as well.... goodluck.

Maybe you run out of oil and that is the noise you are talking,(did you see red (Oil Check) in your instrument panel?) please check the oil and see if your car is OK. The other thing that maybe wrong is the belt from fan see if is OK because maybe is just that that needs to be replace. DO NOT drive the car, have some one @ work to help you what to do, there is always some one that can guide you in the correct direction.
I hope this will help you .

Check the oil level before you drive it. Add oil if necessary. The smoke is probably either a coolant leak (steam smoke) or an oil leak burning on your hot engine exhaust (burning oil smoke). You need to also remove your radiator cap before you start the car (not when the radiator is hot) and make sure the coolant level is topped off.

The problem could be caused by alot of very different things.
Do not drive it any more if you care about your car. Get it towed to someone who can diagnose the cause of your problem correctly and go from there. Your lack of oil changes "in a while"
could be a contributing factor. Timley maintenance is always less $$ than a major repair!

This could be a number of things...while it is sitting look for fresh leaks underneath it, like coolant or motor oil or transmition fluid..... Check your oil dip stick for oil level....when it has been sitting for awhile check your antifreeze level buy undoing cap and look at cold fill plastic bottle.....start it up after checking and have hood up and look for anything leaking out of hoses or belts causing smoking...etc.. and then take it too a reliable mechanic asap

verify you've your air selector administration set to apply outdoors air. you should elect interior air in person-friendly words once you run the ac in the summer season. i visit imagine of no reason that your tail lighting fixtures leaking ought to reason your windshield to fog over. Your automobile is kinda old and the insulation below the hood should be undesirable or gone thoroughly causing the hood to be hotter than prevalent from engine warmth that could reason the steam in moist climate. i doesn't worry about the steam on the hood in any respect.

What maybe the problem is that u don't have any antifreeze, radiator fluid, or maybe u need oil in it. most likely is that u don't have enough fluid in one of your fluid containers. check all that before taking it to an auto shop, or getting the oil changed. and also u need to change your oil every 6000 miles.

look for battery cables, that vave blistered or melted insulation, indicating some thing shorted to ground some ware it shuld not have gone, check for stalled items thst are belt driven
Check for oil leakage on the exhaust manifolds.
Consider having it flatt beded to your trusted service center so it is not needed to be driven, till your problem is found and fixed.
