Looking for a deep tone muffler for a 1998 explorer 5.0. Now I know some of you are gonna say just buy an after cat setup and i will tell you they don't exsist. This thing has a real goofy exhasut set up, and it has a muffler that thas dual 2 1/4 inch inlets and a 2 1/2 inch single outlet. If anyone knows where I can just get a straignt bolt in muffler to make this thing sound better please let me know

A straight bolt in I don't know of , but Magna flow or flow master does make a muffler that will give you the sound that you are looking for..

Try Magnaflow Exhausts...they have multiple compatible vehicles and they sound great. Magnaflow mufflers and systems produce the greatest deep, even tone.

get a thrush(turbo ) muffler also known as a glass pack. be sure they are legal in your state. had these on both cars and trucks makes em sound mean!:)
