I have a 2001 chevy s10, it has a v6 stock, and i wnt to make it faster, and i want to take it out and in the desert and race it. i plan not to sell it so any sugestions??

put a V-8 in it hahahaha. just kidding there are lots of things you could to it but it will be very expensive you could spend 4-5000 dollars just getting it to run like a V-8 I would suggest starting with the exuast headers turbo's (that means two) and then moving to the intake and then to the fuel mngmt system.

1. Drain oil
2. Start truck
3. Hold gas to the floor
4. Wait until engine blows.
5. Take old engine out.
6. Put v8 in!

talk to a sand racer and ask him what you should do .with the s-10 to set it up . great racing to you.
