Where can i get it fixed and how much? Can they fix it without me having just to replace the whole body kit?

How about a basketball dent on the hood? Do i have to replace the whole hood?

I need people's opinions on car leases. I live in the city and I occasionally need a car for work (like 2 or 3 times a week). I like driving but I like getting around without one also. I think a lease would be a good option for me since I don't necessarily depend on a car.

I've heard a lot of different things about leases, some good, some bad. I want people to share their experiences with them. Key word experiences. I would prefer answers from people who have experience with car leases.

One thing in particular that worries me about leases is the insurance. I've heard that people get hit with a lot more insurance costs when they lease. Is this true?

Did you see the article in Forbes on Harley? I happen to know for a fact that Harley makes a good % of their profit off of their finance group, because, lets face it, how many people pay cash for a Harley? This article basically states that Harley has been lending money to dirtbags that haven't been paying it back. It also states that HD will be further affected by the its supply inventory - bikes haven't been selling and they haven't been able to keep their inventory at the artificial low levels they typically do, so the bikes have been depreciating faster than usual. I don't believe it - as any Harley person on this site can tell you, Harley's are investments that never depreciate, and people who can't afford Harleys don't own them... what do you think?

I recently purchased a 2001 VW jetta with 90K miles on it. It's a 2.0 non-turbo with a five speed manual (I traded from an automatic Explorer). I love the car so far but sometimes at speed of about 55 it's like it bumps a little bit, kind of like hesitation or a toned down version of what it feels like to run out of gas the bump bump before it cuts off, also sometimes it idles really fast when it's first started up and then once on the road it calms right down, this is my first german car so I am VERY gun shy if you are a VW person with experience on these matters or any good advice for a first time Vdubber let me know your advice, I really hope it's nothing major. I hope I didn't make a mistake switching from american/japanese cars. THANKS!

I know the prices are higher during prom. I'm about to pay $600 for 5 hours and I'm going to make the down payment today, a sum of $300. Am I being over charged?

I only drive an Isuzu Rodeo, but on the rare occasion that I have to use my horn, I've noticed that it's a high-pitched squawk. It makes the cartoon Roadrunner's "meep meep" sound full of bass. Much larger SUV's horns sound pretty wimpy, too. Why is that? I want a horn like an 18-wheeler. LOL

I love my Colbalt. Excellent power (it takes off with only 4 cylenders, to 80 in 15) good interior design-fold down rear seats, tilt, cruise, etc,) but ignition went out, and that burned out CC, and now the ignition key switch on wheel column locks and I have to restart to remove key. Anybody had similar. Buy American!

My cd charger in my 2000 Jetta VR6 has stopped working. I went to Best Buy and they told me if I put an aftermarket charger in my car that my alarm would stop working. Has anyone tried this or had this problem?

Hello,

I am trying to remove a seized caliper bolt from my 1990 Lumina APV, it is the front-right caliper. The bolt is basically only screwed into a 1/4" thick plate of steel, so I am not sure how it is putting up such a fight. I have tried hammering it, using PB Penetrator. The inside of the bolt was a T50 Torx bit hole, but I have ended up stripping the inside :(. I have been trying in vain for 2 days now to grip onto the outside of the bolt with vice grips, pliers to try and get it out, but it feels like its welded in there or something.

I read somewhere that a torch could be used to heat the bolt slightly, making it easier to come out.

Any suggestions?

I was told I need to change my timing belt, fan belt and waterpump.

My waterpump is broken and has leaked coolant all over the belts.

They quoted me $680 (Canadian) Is this too high?

Also I have a warranty that covers engine, transmission and seals and gaskets?

Would any of this be included in the warranty?
