Unfortunately, there are too many possibilities ranging from clogged injectors, dirty air cleaner, PCV valve, fuel filter, and on and on.

Take it to a reputable service facility and let them fix it rather than trying to diagnose the problem by guessing.

It sounds like you have a bad idler. The stalling when you push on the gas could have to do with when you push it. Does the car stall if you don't push on the gas? If it does, then when you push on the gas, it may already be too late to pull it out of the stall and just floods the engine.

Check these three things... 1) check vacuum lines for a leak. 2) check your E.G.R. Valve. 3) Check your Idle Air Control Valve.
