I have a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse, when I first start it up and am reversing out of a parking space or whatever, and I have the brakes on, the car jerks a lot, only when the brakes are on and usually in reverse. Its jsut for the first 20 seconds or so though>
What could this be?

I have a muffler shop that i like to go to, they do good work. But recently a bought a car w/ a v8 :)..anyway it has a quiet muffler on it and i'd like them to put headers and a flowmaster w/ two outlets on the car. problem is, it doesn't have a cat. converter, and it should. would they be allowed by law to install headers and a flowmaster w/out installing a cat?

Does braking harder make you use more gas? Or should you start breaking slowly at a distance? And going faster means more gas? Thank you.

I was thanking about getting a newer car and pay about 15 grand for something desent. Then I thought about what kind of car I always wanted and admired to see. The old school chevys with the loud pipes.
