Im turning 16 this year and I plan to put a $4,000 down payment and pay about $250 a month. This will be my first car, but my dad has taught me a lot about taking care of a car, so I decided to buy a brand new Toyota Yaris S Sedan. So im wondering if this would be a good decision for a first car?

These days, gas is really expensive and I find myself daydreaming about using other things to make my car go, sort of like in "Back to the Future II," when the Delorean could run on trash. What would you like to use as fuel for your car?

I'm talking about the grooves that are parallel with the road, inside the right-hand lane, beneath your tires as you drive down the freeway. The freeways here in Washington state have them....my sister and I were wondering what they are for?

I have to leave the trunk door open and worry about the battery will be drained if they don't turn off by themselves after a while. If they stay on, how long can they last (approximately) before the battery is completely drained?

Tomorrow Utah is enacting a law that states that 15 year old can come in and get a learner permit. To me, it seems a little young. We dont live in farming communities where the kids need to drive to the next field.
What are your thoughts on this?

I need a place to change my oil in my 05 jetta car. The dealer told me I had to take it to them only because other people might mess it up or do it wrong. They close when I get out of work and they charge 50 bucks to do it. I have called a couple of known oil change places and they dont change diesel oil cars. Im frustrated about this. anybody know any place in san antonio that changes diesel oil cars?????

It's gonna cost you. All that money you saved with the excellent fuel mileage, you'll pay in maintenence /repair charges. If you can find a reputable knowledgable mechanic.
