well if you do disconnect it,,you will notice a bad loss of power,,as well as a loss of fuel mileage,,this is what helps advance the car,s ignition system up to a higher degrees once it needs it,,if you disconnect it,the car will not run good at all,,and you will have a lot of problems with it,,i do this for a living,,i hope this helps.

I haven't seen a vacuum advance in twenty years.
PS -- I really doubt millions were spent engineering a Fiat Uno.

mpg your concern --loss of milage and perfoprmance will be noticable ---if it aint broke donrt try to fix it--millions spent on technology --leave it alone

If you disconnect the vacuum advance, your performance will be piggish. Don't do it.
