Depends on the state regulations on dealers license. Where I live the license is for 'motor vehicles', so it is not only possible, it happens a lot.

Depends on the dealer. I once traded in a Fiat X/19 for a new Suzuki Intruder 1400

If the dealer sells both cars and motorcycles, then possibly, yes. I know in WA, you need to have a different dealer license to buy and sell motorcyles than cars. Honestly, though, you'll still want a car even if you get a bike.

depends on the dealer. if he wants to make that trade he could, but he may want to wholesale or auction the vehicle for a number of different reasons.
