I want a Nissan Maxima or Altima, but need to negotiate the best way possible. How can I get the price to drop the lowest? When is the best time to buy a new car? Lease vs. Buy? HELP!!! PLEASE!

My dad built a volkswagen beetle "baha" several years ago. It has always run really good. My brother borrowed it last week and while driving it, apparently it started on fire. He had to tow it home. It was suggested to me that because it had a possible crack in the distributer cap, it could have started on fire because of that. Does anyone have any suggestions on whether that could have caused it to catch fire? If not, what do you suppose think could have caused that? It was not a huge flaming fire, just a tiny bit of flames I guess.

When i divorced my husband i got his 1969 olds 442, i know it has a 350 rocket, 12 point posey rear end, floor shift, craiger tiers, something bock engien parts, super charger, this vent thing on the hood, and i can't get in it. Here is a 2001 Vulcan800A7 with a rebuilt title
The Bike has been totally Redone and is nearly like new
with only 3100 original miles
Acouple dings in the fuel tank
The dealers said they would only give 1500.00 on a trade.
I told them NO-WAY

Should I have done it or is it worth more ?

My car needs a transmission flush and I think a break flush. Now my bf says that I don't need those because if something was wrong with my transmission it would be something internal that a flush wouldn't fix. So do cars really need this flush that I was told about. My bf thinks these people are trying to rip me off. The guy at the car place showed me the fluid in my car which was very dark and dirty. But since I don't know anything about cars I don't know what to do. I don't want my car to break down but then I don't want to pay people that are trying to rip me off. So what do you think? The flushes I need aren't that much only about $29.99. I also was told that I need power steering fluid. Can someone please explain this?

I just bought this Explorer with 4 wheel disc brakes and Im curious to know how difficult it is to pull the brake calipers off to replace the pads and rotors. It dosent need it just yet, but they will need to be replaced eventually.

Some step by step instructions would be nice as well as the tools necessary to do the job.

I did the brakes on my old truck which was a 96 Blazer, and those were extremely easy.
