95 volvo 850 with no spark..Other than coil, ignitor or distributor, is there any other known culprit that i could check that would cause the no spark

crankshaft position sensor [do you get rpm signal on scan tool ?] if yes then check [ with a test lamp] if you have power comong to coil , if yes while somone else is cranking check negitave coil terminal it should be a flickery looking ground if no suspect immobiliser system try antenna ring that snaps on top of the lock cylender make sure you use the factory supplied key and if the lock cyl has to be replaced it will have to go to the dealer to have the on board computor reprogrammed for the new lock to be accepted.

Check the power wire to the battery ive seen a few splits in them.also check the grey relay locate at the front of the bngine bay attached to the fan mounting plastic it is the relay on the drivers side of the plastic that is by itself

My son's car wasn't a Volvo, but a Lebaron. They tried everything they could think of. Finally, my son in law got new Battery cables, although the old ones looked fine. THAT WAS IT!!!
