If I am a State citizen how do the laws of Federal Income Tax apply to me.

Aren't those laws exclusive to the District of Columbia and to those businesses who sell Tobacco, Firearms and Alcohol only?

And as far as the forms sent to me every year telling me to pay based on the monitored earnings attached to my social security number, Internal Revenue Code, Section 6109(d), (I've added the emphasis):

"The SOCIAL SECURITY ACCOUNT NUMBER ISSUED to an individual for purposes of section 205(c)(2)(A) of the Social Security Act shall, except as otherwise be specified under regulations of the Secretary, be used as the identifying number for such individual for purposes of this title."

Search as much as you want, but you won't find an issued account number. Yet, this is what your tax law wants. Every April 15th, you swear a perjury oath to the federal god that you have a number that does not exist

Can someone help answer my question and address"account number"is it a private bank

my mother-in-law works for h&r block during the tax season. although she doesn't do our taxes for us, i was wondering if she could still look at our tax information by keying in our social security numbers? my husband and i decided to hire an accountant to do our taxes because when she used to file them for us she always told everyone how much money we made for the year. also our accountant who does our taxes now, files them through h&r block as well.

i recently worked a 2 month temporary assignment in illinois. i'm a resident of california. i noticed that my recruiting agency has withheld quite a lot for illinois state taxes. i would assume since i am not a resident of illinois, i'm not eligible to file a tax return. i also have to pay taxes on that income in california. am i entitled to get that money back from the recruiting agency? what do i do?

Seing that the 4th of july this year, will fall on Wed, the middle of the week, will the Government agencies be claiming only Wed. or with they also be taking a friday or monday to boot.

just wanting to know where our Tax money is going to go, or will we all be loosing out for the Fed, State and locals governments to get even another holiday payday off again.
Why don't we have either the non government workers all get as many holidays off as the Federal, States, and local governments, or will the government agencies, look to cut back and save our country Billions and billions of Dollars a Year, by cutting back the amount of these Holidays they come up with to take off.

If you had a business that was doing badly, would you ignore it and not work harder time waise to get your business better and save it, or would you take the extra time to get the jobs out and make better customers and get that job done to better your work again and make more money?

I read on wiki

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_bracket#Tax_brackets_in_the_USA

That when you move up a bracket, they only charge you the higher rate for the income that falls in that bracket... like the first 8000 is charged 10% and then the second $8000 is charged the higher rate of 15%

So why do people always say put money into a traditional RIA to "move down a tax bracket"

all you are really doing is avoiding $5000 of your money taxed at the highest tax bracket you reach, not actually avoiding all your money from higher rates am I right?

I hear you are liable for 10 years to pay American taxes, even after you have become a citizen somewhere else.

If you don't pay is your only penalty being banned from returning to the United States? What further evil does the IRS do to Americans who have had enough of working over half their lives to pay taxes which funds illegal activity like Wars in Iraq and welfare for 20 million illegal aliens?

If you don't pay your taxes, does the IRS claim your social security, assuming it will still be around after the illegals claim $2.5 trillion if Leave No Illegal Alien Behind is passed?
