Ive tried everything...virtually. I run a small travel company and am starting to run out of advertising ideas to attract the older generation, website and online advertising doesnt work for the target audiance im after, newspaper ads are fine but very costly on a weekly basis. I'd be gratefull for any ideas.

Thanks

For the last couple years I've been tossing around the idea of starting my own soap making business. My big concern is that someone will develop a terrible rash from something I make and sue me. How do companies manage this sort of thing?

I have just started with modest equipment shooting weddings that are looking for something different than the usual. I have also done some portraits. As a student, (always a student) I took pictures of lots of landscapes, pets, especially old farm equipment and barnes. Any help would be appreciated. I have done a significant amount of work in my black and white dark room. I also have two digital cameras as well. I am not looking for strictly wedding photography.

I would like to be able to quit my job and stay at home with my 2 month old son but still would like to bring in some money also. I am not great with the internet, but I am very very creative person (crafts, scrapbooking, cooking, etc) and would like to somehow use the internet ot market some of my skills while still staying home. Does anyone have any ideas? I would prefer to steer clear of anything that you have to pay to participate in, and definitely want to avoid internet scams. Has anyone done/heard of anything they can suggest?

I've been working full time in my job for 3 years now. Last October, working time was changed from 9.00 - 4.30 to 9.00 - 5.00. We were previously given an hours' lunch and this was also reduced to 1/2 an hour. Last week, the new management in the office informed us that we should be taking an hour for lunch. I have worked out that from then until now i have worked an additional 1 week and 1 day, free of payment. Do i have any right to claim this time back?

If I was to make my salon services into a home-based business, will it be an automatic target? When it is open to the public and it appears to be successful does that make it MORE of an open target for robbery and unwanted attention?

Hello, I am facing this situation: I work for a small non-profit, and sometimes I work out of their main office and sometimes out of the owner's personal home, they want to give me 2 keys (one for each), but I refused on the grounds that they could hold me responsible for anything that might happen to either.

Is it legal to do this, do I need to have it written down in the company policy or my contract that I am not responsible or some other phrase, heck, they won't even honour my vacation days so far, why should I be stuck with 2 keys and the responsiblity ?

I'd appreciate your answers. THanks/

when the man of the house suggests I strip down a little when I am working, which is cool, because the tips is like 10 times what I usually get paid. But only some of my customers offer the extra money. Is it okay to suggest it, or would that be pushy?

What is better?

Renting/Buying an existing business and make it into a salon or making your business home-based with a section of your house renovated into a salon setting with all the supplies and equpiment you need?

I feel that being home-based, will be better financially because this way, I won't have to worry about having a seperate or extra mortgage/rent to pay. Also, traveling to my clients is something that I do on a regular when different Hair/Fashion events come around.

What do you think?
Advice please.......
