I am looking for resources for small churches regarding AV equipment. I am looking for information for some place that may donate AV equipment to churches especially small start up churches. I am particularly interested in a projector that you hook up to your laptop for presentations. Be blessed my friends and thanks for your responses in advance

I just opened a cleaning business based from home with a partner of mine. We have advertised in a local flyer magizine and have passed out flyers in neighborhoods. Only a few calls came from the flyer magizine but nothing has come from the flyers that we passed out. What is the best way to market the business with little to no cost? Also, does anyone know how to book clients as regulars instead of one time cleanings... and what are good prices we should set for them? Please help ASAP!!!

Hi there,

I am a professional Beauty Therapist using Miessence Certified Organic products which can be seen at www.organicnaturalbeauty.
mionegroup.com

I have no trouble in suggesting and selling home care to my clients to use in between treatments, as the products really work, and are well priced.

However the moment I suggest that they can have their own little hobby business, whether they wish to sell to markets, salons, retail, stalls, Internet or just friends, most of my clients if not all, would only prefer to buy from myself as they are scared of MLM, and do not wish to be involved in any MLM. What has damaged the MLM enterprize so much?

I would agree that there are some bizzare companies out there - However the one I am associated with, is Australian and very genuine, not to mention the Skin care is brilliant as it is the only 100% certified Organic range on the planet.

I have some good business ideas, but my credit is shot, because my child had heart surgy and we had to file for bankruptcy. I can't get a loan and trying to get a job because my credit is bad no one will hire me and I am also seven months along. I need to find some way of making a living and my only option is to be in business for myself. How do I start a bussiness with very little capital to no capital. I can't rely on my husband. He is skilled, but has no people skills. Our unemployment is running out and I don't have much time to think of options on my own. How can I make a business work?

I am considering buying a house to rent out. Does anyone do this already, if so do you get many problems from tenants and when you signed contracts did you find getting everything ready ok or not.
Also do you have to declare the extra income to the tax man.

By that I mean the work is the same. Your hours are the same, everything is the same except you have to file a 1099 no thats not right, well I dont know you have to file a different tax form out at the end of the year and you get taxed a lot more. You also would have to get a tax ID number, what else am I missing??? Oh and when you are your own business I am assuming you have to pay for your own health insurance, so if the $25 dollar an hour job already paid 100% of that, I dont know I cant deciede. Which is better?

How do I set up a sellers account

I own a cleaning business & pay my employees $10 per hour + bonuses
I hired a lady last week & every house she has done so far, she has taken 2-4 hours longer than it shoul. I had my best employee work with her last week& we both think she is trying to drag it on to make more money
She is doing a good job but not great, especialy for the time its taking her! B/c she is so slow
I'm loosing money on some houses b/c I'm paying her more than I charged
I'm trying to implent a system to prevent my employees from doing this.
Anyone have any ideas?
I could pay by the job, but do I pay a % of how amount I charge customer? If I do, what is a fair %?? or should I, when doing the estimate, decide how long the house should take&add 1 hour to that time for the "unexpected"
& letting the employee know that if it takes longer than the time I set, they don't get paid for the time difference unless they call me, I look at house & agree that it will take longer.
Am I asking too much??

should I charge an hourly rare or by the Sq Ft? I have checked the office out from outside and looks to be around 1000 sq ft , I provide two staff for each job and wondered if the job took two hours with two staff I should charge £45 to £50 weekly is this to much?

I purchased a replacement remote control from a company.
Certain buttons on it do not work on i.

I then called them up to exchange, my partner went in person to exchange. They were out of stock with replacements.

The man in the shop then said that he will come down and manually check the remote.. he did not have a replacement with him. He said he would come back on Sunday (today)
There is no opening hours on their website, found out that they are trading from a residential address.

The woman in the shop said that if the remote does not work, there will be a £3.00 admin fee for returning it... there is nothing about an admin fee on the website

I called them this morning at 9am to see when the man was coming today down to look at the tv again, he snapped at me saying that he was not coming down at 9am. He then said 'forget I will give you a refund'

They have my money, I dont have the goods, I also stopped my credit card.

What are my rights?
