I have a new web site being constructed and almost ready to start up go to seekacontractor.com a high quality and no charge to the consumer contractor referral business in the Southern California area only, I have highly qualified pre-screened licensed and insured contractor's ready to bid jobs, how would I get my free service to the average homeowner, building owner, management group, etc. over the internet without spending a small fortune?

Hook up with google, yahoo and all the other search engines for free. Send them an email about your site and they send you some forms to fill out to authenticate the site and you are good to go.

You want to be really high up on page ranking on the main search engines like Google and Yahoo. If you want loads of people to get onto your site I'd read up on search engine optimisation and try and get your website in the first few results for people looking for services like yours.
Also Google ranks via how many other sites link to yours. So links all over the internet should help.

call contractors and ask them for a phone meeting. Have a good pitch, and if they are interested, get them to come to your office.
