How can I go about starting up a adult pay only website?

It's not hard to do.
1. Go to http://www.godaddy.com or http:/www.register.com and get a domain name. . . but don't get hosting there.
2. Go to http://www.arvixe.com and get hosting. Make sure that you get enough hosting to cover the content you will be providing.
3. If you don't have your own content go to http://www.web-legal.com and buy some pictures and movies to go on your site. If you have your own content, go to step 4.
4. If you know how to build a website, then build it. If not hire a designer You can hire me at http://www.amateur-designs.com
5. Get a credit card processor. I recomend http://www.ccbill.com but any of them wil work as long as they allow adult content.
6. Advertise your new site.
7. Advertise some more.
8. Repeat steps 6 & 7

You will need hosting, domain name, identity (logo, etc), content of course (photos, videos...), a payment processing...you can also find a professional web designer that will design and develop a website for you. Make sure you get a mobile site as well, nowadays more than half your traffic will come from mobile and make sure you get professional SEO service as well in the package because having a website and not being found would be useless. Some hosting providers balk at the thought of hosting an adult website. you may need to host it yourself.
