Hi,

the seller of the property I've been looking to purchase has backed out, literally, at the last hour.

I've spent a good whack on surveys, solicitors, and structural engineers, not to mention that I've sold my old house and gone into temporary accomadation.

Can I get any recompense out of him for this? I think I know the answer but wondered if there's anything I can do?

what pitfals should he look out for? Any advantages he should look for? Is there anyway to finance a transaction without bankrupting oneself?

I have been renting this house for $1590 a month for two years now. I am the first tenant of the property since he bought it. His "excuse" for not selling is that when it is paid off in 15 years it will be retirement income for their family. While I completely understand what he is trying to do, wouldn't it be more beneficial for him to make some profit immediately and roll the money over into another property to rent? The community I live in isn't really much of a rental area. There are multiple houses on the same street for sale. Any help and ideas would be great!

During the life of the contract with the broker, it states I must pay a commission equal to the sale commission if I change my mind about selling and cancel.

It's June 14th. I moved into this apartment on June 1st. I have already seen 3 roaches. I am writing this now because pest control came earlier today to treat the kitchen and I saw one this evening IN THE KITCHEN!!!! 2 babies and the one today was an adult. It's only been 2 weeks, so it's safe to assume that things will only get worse. Moving is tiring and expensive. I could have stayed where I was if I had known this place had pests. What are my rights as a renter? How long should I give the management company to deal with this problem? Can I break my lease? Can I ask for moving expenses?

The buyer for our home just backed out and we have to close next Friday on the house we had made an offer on. We don't have enough cash on hand without our equity in this house to make the down payment. Is there anyway we can get a loan to make the down payment so we can move ahead with the purchase. I would rather not get a bridge or finance 100%.

My friends and I are looking to buy a house, and we went to a showing today with a realtor and we found that the owners of the house MAY [[we don't know for sure]] have moved the breaker box from the basement to the garage. But what they did was they pretty much took the switches off and taped the wires so they were on all the time and woudln't shut off. The realtor and my friend's dad were saying something about big bucks to possibly re-wire the entire house. Does anyone know anything about this? What could have possibly happened here? Also, this problem wasn't included in this disclosure on the house, even though it will not pass inspection and is not up to code. Is there anything we could do about that, should we decide to get the house? And lastly, if we have to rewire, can anyone tell me about how much it will cost to rewire a house approximately 15-16k sq ft?

I need my son's income on a loan application along with my income so that I qualify for a home loan. Though I receive money from my partner, it is not court mandated nor have I deposited it in the bank to show proof of such. My son would like to buy his own home in the future. Would he be able to do so? even though money is still owed on the one he helped my with? And if so, what needs to be done to make it happen?

Can the landlord just tell you that you have to move in 30 days, just because he wants to?

Our landlord just asked us to leave when the lease is up. He said it is because he wants a single person here. (in this case it is 60 days, but our neighbors were only given 30)

He told our upstairs neighbors that they would have to move unless they pay an increase in the rent and sign a 12 mo. lease. (She will be 8 mo. pregnant by then)

of the house. What is the recommended way to do this? Should we get with a lawyer to do a act of donation from my dad first? Or do we put together a purchase agreement for the entire amount, and my dad tears his check up? Or does the purchase agreement only have to include my uncles amount? Kinda confused on what should happen so that it's easiest for all parties.
Thanks.

I bought a house with my girlfriend ( baby mother). we split up after 2 months of living together. Both of our names are on all the paperwork. Mortgage & deed. We both pt 6gs down each as a downpayment. She stayed at the house with our daughter. I want my money back from her and my name off of the house. Its been 18 months since I moved out. What should I do?? Do I have any legal rights?

I am getting an apartment with one roommate and the rent is 475....so 238 for each person split 50/50.

I am wondering how you think I will end up paying at the end of the month with water, electric, tax, whatever, all included. If you include heat do it seperatly since it won't be a year long thing.

Remember Wisconsin's price of living isn't like New York or Cali.

OR if anyone knows of a website that offers them for free...which i highly doubt from what ive seen.
