We bought a large unfinished home. We basically ran out of money (after 6 years) to complete it. Would borrowing funds privately and compensating through the equity after-renos be a good way to go? We just want a complete home. Our credit is not the best. Is this risky and what disadvantages are to this? We have no equity.

husbands car in hit & run accident. we still owe on the car (problem with insurance co. we are fighting that right now). it is driveable right now (because it isn't snowing yet) there is no way to get a back windshield in it at all unless the $4k worth of repair is made. We are late on payment. The bank is going to repo. House is seriously behind! We set up a plan with then & then they sold our loan. We have bad credit. No money (all that comes in goes straight to living cost, food, gas, baby needs). We can't file bankruptcy because my husband is starting a new job with an insurance company. WHAT DO WE DO!?? I'm SO STRESSED OUT! give up the car? give up the house? will my credit qualify for an apartment? it doesn't qualify for a personal loan. i have a 3 year old & a 1 year old. i am LOST! please help!

I took a guy to court for small claim of £500. Went in my favour and ccj given to the guy with order to pay £500 by 1st November. He looks unlikely to pay. who can help me get him to pay.

I know about all the types of enforcement. But i know he is self employed, he likely has a joint bank account and debt less than 600 so cant use bailiffs. So only option is charging order to his house when he sells it.

Any ideas, will any debt colection firm do it and if so, i need some names of them to take case on.

How much money do you owe? Do your assets outweigh your amount of debt?

I need help. I have a full time job at a plant that is so physical, I can hardly handle it, that pays about 9 dollars an hour. If I get hired on in about 3 months to a year, I'll be making about 10.50 an hour. I'm off on Fridays and Saturdays. I just found out that I'm going to lose my house. My boyfriend can't help me either, he can hardly help himself. Can any one offer any ideas on how I can make some extra cash?
Other details
I'm twenty, no family, no credit, and all I have to work with is a HS Diploma. No cash to spend on making money.

I thought things were getting better and that i might be able to go to school to become a high school teacher, but i guess that's out of the question too.

i had my debit card cancelled while i am away, in error, by the fraud department of my bank who admit they had no reason at all to cancel the card...there was no fraud reported and i had let them know i was away and was on the phone to them twice the day they cancelled my card with regard to a different matter altogether and no one let me know anything...it has caused me considerable distress and in effect ruined the first week of my holiday...they are rushing me another card 2/3 working days...and have said they will be looking to compensate me for the error...how does thgis kind of thing happen?...and does compensation really make up for a lost week of my vacation?...has this ever happened to anyone else?...

any advice would be gratefully appreciated...

just curious...;0)

-She will be 65 in February.
-She is no longer contributing to the plan.
-There is NO company matching.
- The plan is held with Schwab but administered by a third party who set up the accounts and such. This "advisor" charges ridiculous fees even though the guy does nothing with her account (no advice, no fund movements etc.).

- I understand that some plans may not permit rollovers, especially of pretax assets in the account, but what if she's over 59 1/2 or what about once she reaches 65?
