First don't panic. If both of you are working perhaps one or both need to take on another part time job. Talk to all your creditors. Most will be more willing to work with you and take payments than repo things. Just be sure that you make the payments that you commit to. Find an apartment before the house is foreclosed on. Do you have any relatives that you could stay with temporarily till you get some money saved or could a family member loan you some money at least to get the house payments caught up? Don't give up on the car yet, the insurance may pay off eventually but if you cant make payments you may be better off letting it go if you can find other less expensive transportation.

He can use the patch and stop smoking without the help of a doctor; that's an excuse. If he chooses to continue to smoke, he needs to do it on a budget, not an unlimited amount of money. It's so stupid that people in dire straits financially would spend hundreds of dollars SMOKING, which will just kill him early and painfully.I think you should challenge him hard on his choice to continue such a destructive behavior. It's good to have a plan, but yours may not be realistic. You may not ever be able to afford another child. You sound overwhelmed. The bottom line is that money is only money. It will come and go. Your best bet is to come up with a workable plan WITH him, and feel good about it. He could make the argument that's he's pulling more weight than you financially. You need to work together.

You should really find one of the free credit counseling outfits in your area. They will work with you to find some answers. Call them today. As soon as they open.

Then relax, you'll work something out. Sometimes we need to be tested to get through to the other side.

Although it seems as if everything is crashing down on you you have your health. That's more than lots of people. Just sit down and calm down. It will work out!
