Call Trans Union Fraud Dept toll free @ 1-800-680-7289. They will also notify the other 2 bureaus for you at no charge. There are times when you can get a new Social Security but I would call Social Security direct @ 1-800-772-1213.

A lot. They can get online and find out your name and apply for credit cards and etc.

immediately write to the credit reporting agencies or call them
and place a fraud alert on your reports, you'll have to re-new
it every three months
