I have recently received a mail from a company looking for reps who can receive their customers payment (written to my name) and asking me to cash them and deduct 10% for myself and send the rest of he cash through western union. Is this a legal way to do? Has anyone received any mail like this one that I received recently. They have sent a package through UPS and I have to wait a day to receive it.

I work for time warner cable and the pay is good and the benefits are outstanding, but the hours are the worst. I often miss out on family events and other important things because I have to work. I really just don't like dealing with the customer's either because some days I just don't feel like fixing everyone's problems which is pretty much my main job... I thought about being an electrician because I used to be one but I'm so affraid of getting laid off and I live by myself so I have only my income to rely on. Anybody out there know anything about being a union electrician or have any other ideas at all about what I could do about this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I paid money to get a websit. I enjoy the website! I was told to do blank, blank, and blank to my site and I would "possibly" make money. I now have a great site and no "nepharious" income. Should I keep this website or stop paying the fees and discontinue? Really need your help!

I have a large overdraft fee pending on my account. I have direct deposit and when my check gets deposit, I will loose my whole check. I called the HR personel dept. to have them recall the funds back so they can resubmit me a check, but can the bank deny the HR dept. request because of the overdraft? help!

Recently I read an article about ending banks ability to manipulate transactions and processing them in what ever order they desire. This can, and often does generate Overdraft charges. I have also seen alot of comments about opening a line of credit for Overdraft Protection. What is a person to do, when their poor credit prevents them from getting this "Overdraft Protection"? My own credit score is just under 600. I have worked hard at raising it from around 435 in the last 6 months. But, despite my efforts to improve I have been declined a small line of credit for overdraft protection.
I have had to pay over $400.00 in overdraft fees in the last month. My paycheck is deposited at 10:30pm local time on Thursday night. The paycheck IS NOT cleared and posted to my account until Saturday morning after 8:00am. Which increases the chances of Overdrafts fees generated for any debits and credits done on Friday.
How can this be fair to people like me?

Hello,

I have a problem. I gave my uncle last year £5,000, on the understanding that I would get it back within one month, and he guranteed he would get the whole amount back. The money was from a inheritance me and my partner got, and my partner really did not want to give it. I assured her on the basis that I trusted that he would pay it all back within the time stated.

It has been over 1 year 1 month and to date I have not received the full amount back from him.

Within this period these things have transpired.

1) I have asked him for the money, and he said there was a issue with the solicitors and its taking time. On that basis I said I would wait and I he should inform me that it has been sorted.

2) In may of this year he said he got the money. I was happy and asked him to pay me the full amount of money. He said he would. I gave him my account details, cool.

Do you think that banks or credit unions are better? I had much better service at my credit union, and I'm missing it.

I am a loan officer for a mortgage company refinancing one of my clients. He is stating his income as he is self-employed. One of the conditions required by the lender is a 4506-T tax form. I forwarded it to my client, but he is hesitant to submit this form in fears of being audited by the IRS? What is the likelyhood of this actually happening and what would need to happen for the IRS to take such drastic measures? Otherwise I'm not sure why this is a requirement from the lender...

What would happen if everyone in the United States chose 10 people out of the phone book in alphabetical order and sent $1.00 to each of these ten people. Then next month start from where they left off and sent another set of ten people $1.00 and so on and so on? If each of us did this I think we might all be rich in no time or at least have all our bills paid. What do you think? Just a curious about question. Mike

I will be 18 soon, and i plan on getting my own apartment. Aparments where i live are roughly 300-400 a month and many of them include electric and gas. I will be turning 18 at the beginning of my senior year of high school. I make around 200 dollars a week at my job. I have health insurance through my job, and i have a car and pay the insurance myself. I also pay my cell bill, and the internet bill at my house. I still feel as though there are other precautions i should be taking before moving out into a place. Will school and work i think it may be tough. I feel though that i have covered many bases, including the insurance, and making sure ill have enough income. Any suggestions as to what else i should be doing to prepare?
