Be careful with some of these answers. There are a lot of scams out there. Do not do anything that requires you to pay money, even if they send you a check first (because it will be a bad check). Don't waste $6-$7 K on your room if you are under 18. Save that money so you won't be living in the same room when you are 38.

WOW, it is good to dream big but....
You need parental support in this. Here is what I would recommend. Write up a proposal outlining why you should be allowed to sell your items on eBay. Think things thru, and have people review it. Call a family meeting and present the proposal. You might be surprised at how your parents react to you being mature about it.
NOW, why do you need 6-7K to fix up a room. As a parent I would say NO!!!!!!!!!! If you wanted that kind of money to put in savings, yes, in a heart beat. I might even be willing to buy into a garage sale, but eBay nor a garage sale will get that kind of chaching.
