I have some excessively large bills that are measured at 8" x 18". I received them from my grandmother's will when she passed away and all I know is that they have been passed through the family for generations.

I really would like to keep the bills because they have sentimental value. However, I have been living off of food stamps and every month find it hard to keep up with the rent. Is anyone willing to buy these bills from me. I have five 100 dollar bills and I believe they are dated back to the 17th century. My grandmother told me many stories about these coveted bills as a child, but I must sell them because I can't keep living like this.

I am upside down in my auto loan. I am hoping that this will help me out of my truck so I can get something better on gas and cheaper. I owe about $12,500 and the value I looked up said about $8500. I will probably get less because it has some problems and needs a little bit of fixing.

Using current rates what is the interest earned after one year?

Do you pay taxes on money earned via interest?

Also, will normal banks hold that much money in one account?

my boyfriend and i are going to purchase a condo for when we get married, and until then i was going to live there alone or with a roommate and pay him rent. well i want to create a legal contract for which if anything happens, i will receive the money back. he knows about all this, so it's not a 'behind the back' type thing and i just want to have it in writing since my name is not on the condo contract purchase.
who would i go to or what suggestions do you have?

My, soon to be, ex-wife wants a cash lump sum instead of a share of my pension. I'm prepared to borrow money to raise the cash, but it will take me years at who knows what interest rate to pay it off. Obviously the cash amount should be less than the pension share, but how much less? 20%? 30%? Is there any standard formula?

He gets phone calls at least twice a day from the same debt. He let them know that everything will be current on his payday next Thursday, but they insist on calling back (sometimes as late as 21:30-22:30 central time), what seem like every four to six hours a day. What can he do to get the phone calls to stop before he gets his debt current. I have been around him many times when they call, and it gets quite annoying. What do you guys think?

We won a house auction on June 20, 2007. As soon as we did, the following day my husband and I applied for a loan. The lender, told us we were gonna close in 3 weeks. Between the day we applied for the loan and 2 days before closing we tried to contact the bank lender more than 30 times. He informed us we needed supplemental papers a week before closing and said we were gonna have an answer (wether approved or not) on June 18, 2007. On this day, we called him and he said he handed the responsibility to someone else in charge. This lender/bank know that if we fail to close on the 20th of June, we lose the downpayment made to the house.

Okay, now before we made the loan, we had to give 5% downpayment to the bank who owned the house. In the contract with the auction people, it is stated that extension for the closing is optional and is 150$ every day including the weekends.

Today, we talked to the person in charge with our loan and he said best case scenario is to get an answer in 2 wk
