A friend was injured at and now he is trying to go back becouse he don't get a nuff money to pay his bills. Will he get a setalmant for his pain and suffering. He is trying to go back befor he even hill. Take in minde he also had surgery on this injury.

Not if he gets workmen's comp. That is the rub for getting the compensation, that you cannot sue for more.

If he has proof that he was injured on the job, yes he should get a settlement. Most companies do their best not to give you one. He will have to fight for it if this is what they are doing. Find a good lawyer who will work for your friend They only get a small percentage of the money Paid under the law. Realize also if they go this route then the job will more than likely be gone. Companies do not like people who get hurt or sue them from a job related injury.

Unless the company was negligent, and it was not caused by him not following procedures then no he will not receive anything
