About 4 month ago my husband kick me out of his home with all my clothes( I said his home because before marriage he made me sigh a Pre-Nup agreement and I did)
We got married 3 years ago
The main reason why we are apart was MONEY, he wanted me to pay 1/2 of everything, I used to pay 1/2 of his Mortgage , utilities plus expensas.
But the big problem was when he asked me to pay 1/2 of the mensually payment of his Sport car ( his car is not on my name, he bought it before marriage) also he wanted me to help with the payments of his Credit Cards ( he owns about $13,000 and again I never used those cards and there not on my name) cause of that he decided we should be apart for a while or forever...
Right now I'm living at my parents home
He always make more money than I do but anyway he wanted me to pay 1/2 ! He did not care if I have some money left for me or nothing. He is very bossy and rude
I'm still loving him but he was using me! I'm very sad and upset

I just finished transferring all my credit card debt to one card with a fixed 5.99% for the life of the balance. It was about $11,000 I plan on paying this off within three years.

Now, I want to decrease my credit limits on my other cards. Would this hurt my credit score?

I realize that every bank is different & that's why I put 'generally'. I bank with BB&T & the account's under about $214. They're charging a $6 fee every day that it's overdrawn & a $35 fee for any purchases that come in. I know I'm not good with finances & shame on me. But I'm just looking for an answer to my question; No need to bring your soapboxes. (Also, I'll have the money in a week. Will it make a difference if I call & tell them that, or will it matter at all? : S)

I bank with bank of america and i had a check go through that was supposed to have been post dated but wasnt (long story). The check posted last night putting my account into the negative even though there wasnt enough money in there to even cover it. I have 11 purchases in red (neg) and 8 of them were made days before that check went through with my debit card.. so technically they shouldnt be overdrawn! I understand i will owe O/D fees, but will i have to pay overdraft fees on things that I bought days ago?

It doesn't make sense!

I've been noticing that due to being 1 day late with one company, all the other aprs have been going up. I ask them why and they say that there are 30 days in a billing cycle. Some months have 31, 28 and 30 days; and so the due date changes. I'm overwhelmed and don't know where to start. I'm beginning to wonder if my bill pay throgh my bank is in on this too. I'm thinking of going through a credit card consolidation program but I know it will go on my credit. But I'm so fed p with them I can't even see, and I'm afraid to find out what they have been doing. I keep all the statements but I hate doing math. My math teacher even told me not to have a bank account.

I got a call yesterday saying that since I am in good standing with my credit card, I have won a $1000 shopping spree. I just have to sign up for 5 magazines and pay for shipping on them and any online purchases that I make. Has anyone heard of this before? Does this sound like something that I should do? Thanks for the advise in advance.

I currently have a loan and someone cosigned with me. He wants to come off and the bank will not let him. I have not missed a payment and the bank is happy with the arrangement. He told me today he is going to pay the loan off and sue me for it. Can he do that and if so how? I am making the payments as agreed. We never had a contract between us that said I would pay it off in so many months other than what we have with the bank.
