I won a judgement in the amount of $3600, the person I won the judgement against believes that he was in the right and therefore does not need to pay. I went to my local courthouse today and I filed for a payment hearing, at which I requested that he bring all his banking info, property he owns, vehicles and and his tax returns for the last 2 years. He has money, so it is not like trying to get blood from a stone, but he really believes that he is above the law. I would rather just get my money and be done with the whole thing, if anyone can direct me to a template of a letter to send him, or if you have any ideas of what I should do, please let me know. Thank you, Lynn.

I listened to one person about what i write in the memo line. If its a rent check, write the apt. number. If its a telephone bill, credit card, write your account number.
But i think that i have been wasting my time. What i mean is can i just write rent, credit card payment, or utilities expense, or whatever i want?

By the way, for the apt. im talking about a building with 24 floors, just to let you know.

I'm new to crediting and am wondering if my question applies to keeping the outstanding balance under 30% or keeping your available credit under 30%? Or is it something else?

I have this self pre-loaded credit card for over a year now and was just wondering if they charge you a monthly fee whether you use the card or not. I have never received a statement but do they charge you without a bill sent to you??????

I'm a college student who already has a VISA card with Comerica bank, but I just received a VISA card offer from Capital One.
I don't see the point in owning two VISA credit cards.
Should I change to Cap. One?
(Paying back credit line has never been a problem)

I would like to combine the accounts at each bank. Has anyone ever done this or know of a way to do so. I have good credit but way to much, it is lowering my credit score. By combining I'm hoping to lower my payments. I don't think I would qualify for a new card to transfer balances.

My best friend has alot of debt. She just used one of those consolidation places, using a number off the tv, to have one monthly payment and they reduced her total debt. Is this a good decision?

I have some debt and I want to do this but I am afraid my credit will be worse. My credit is already bad for past due accounts in collection status. No I wasn't a deadbeat..I has surgery and couldn't pay my bills and them the minimum balances kept snowballing. Some of my friends say it makes your credit worse but I think paying it off would be better than not paying it. Anyone have a real answer on this? Thanks.

I just paid off a huge portion of my credit card bill (13K) and now have very little debt. My credit has not been perfect in the past and during the past year, paid all my bills on time. Currently, my fico score is a little below 600. When I can expect that to go up and at what increment?

I have moved to the USA and I have no credit score. I had 3 credit cards in the UK, all in good standing. Can they be imported (so as to speak) to count towards my credit history in the USA? I cannot do much here with a zero credit score. Hope you guys can be as helpful as always!

Is it true that they look at how many credit cards you have and determine how far you "could go" into debt? For instance. A person with 1 zero balance credit card would have a better score than a person with 20 zero balance credit cards. Is this correct. Anyone know a website that tells this?
