Where can I go to get credit advise/counsel? My credit has not been perfect and will soon pay off all my debt. I need a professional to look at my report and give me further advise on what I must do to improve my score. Thank you!

First take a look at your credit report. The 4 factors most affecting your score are listed just below each of your credit scores. They will give you a good roadmap of where to go from here. Also - ask a mortgage broker you trust. Thats our business and I spend quite a bit of time counseling all types of credit.

Credit reports are mostly 2 basic things
1) How timely you pay your debts
2) What your debt to income ratio is or how much $$ do you owe , compared to what you make.
You can look at it yourself but here are some professional takes (center page)
