I'd really like to work from home, doing some of the things i've seen advertised...such as mailing information, assembling products, any kind of data entry, but not spamming. I'm scared though because I don't want to be scammed or tricked into something.

I have a lot of ambition and passion to be the best that I can be. My dream is to become a Police Officer, yet I also have a talent for academics and medicine. I will be 21 years old before too long and would like to know what others think. I was born and raised around Police and have what seems to be an innate ability to be a police officer. My immediate goal is to become a Paramedic. I love the medical aspect of being a Paramedic. Medical and Legal investigations intrigue and motivate me to solve the problem. Is the medical journey satisfying enough for me to take that route? My biggest worry about that route is time. Time for family, friends, and love. Or must you revoke all that time until the end?

I quit my job at a local video store because I got paid minimum wage and their were no benefits to my position. I really needed to get health insurance and I was told that I would never be eligible to get it. So I got a different job that paid me a little more money and gave me full benefits. At first I hated the job, because the people were horrible and I didn't seem to be making anymore money then my old job. I stuck it out and things seem to be getting somewhat better, even if it is not my style of job. But today I got a call from my old employer and they want me back. Their willing to match my pay and gurantee me at least 28 hours; however I still won't be given health insurance. At my old job an employee had to be considered full-time to get health insurance and my former boss still will not make the effort to give me a full-time postion. Should I go back to my old job or stay at my new one?

I am saying Online or anywhere. What and where would you say are the best online places to look for jobs? I have a degree in history but do not want to teach or even really feel the need to have a job where I have to use my degree. Thanks.

I have to leave job for which I did not have time to notify my employer 2 weeks before I quit. My planes changed so fast. I have to quit immidiately, but I I still have my shift schedule for tommorow. I work at Starbucks as barista. Should I make call and tell them that my car broke and cannot come and later send or call them that I quit. OR shut I just call and tell them I am done. Which option is best for me (not employer). I know it is not nice to lie, but I have to move to another location (as I go to college). And besides I was neither always treated there with respect. What would you tell?

What do you put on your application if you been fired? The company I worked for had zero tolerance policy. I was missing around with my friend him and I always playing around. I picked him up and he put his feet in the trash compactor. Then jumped out smiled at me. I was working and threw a long wooden board at me. It hurt so bad I went to tell the manager. Then HR called him in suspended him then fired him. They did the samething to me. He didn't get hurt I did. I was upset. Right now I'm filling out application left and right. I keep getting that part whats the reason for leaving. What do I put in there? In the interview do they ask the same question? I been with the company for 7 years the new company that took over have been firing people without written warnings.

Hello everyone,
Well, I'm about to turn 16 and I've decided I'd like to start working. I need a good job, but I don't want it having to do with flipping burgers or frying fries or anything like that. Also, I don't want to work at like Wal-Mart or some other shopping market franchise. I'd like to work possibly at the mall, or even be a caddie at a local golf course if at all possible. Or even work at the local hospital. Do you think I'll be able to land these types of jobs living in TX?
Also, do I need a work permit? If so, where do I go and get one?

Thanks,
Jalapeno10
P.S.- If you have some other job ideas, I'd love to hear them.

If a boss oe employer refuses you a job as you have dreadlocks or coloured hair or a goth, of have tattoss etc.

You and mates hold them down, tattoo their face so they have goth like features or a tattoo. Shave their head and superglue or stitch into their head things like plantic neon green hair extentions

Ie if they have a problem with your coloured hair or tattooos or alternative looks in general...

Why it it not allowed for you to turn them so they look alternative and then they get saked for not looking right and refused a job and see how they like it.

Similar principle to turning a a white racsit back for a while and sticking him someahere away from friends

Whilst at it.

If bosses sack you or otherwise attack your work place relationship why cant you break up their family or marriage.

Or if they exploit sweat shop labour.

Kidnap them take them to a sweat shop where can speak the language and see how they like it.

And their kids too

people keep naggin me to get a better education, so I can be payed really good and live nicely. but I'm fine with small money. I love to live humble. so about the food. I always buy a bag of apples for 2€ and its a lot of apples. another thing is that I'm a vegeterian and I dont even eat a lot. I run and exercise quite a lot but I dont need to eat tons of food like other people. even after a hard working day. its been like this for years. and a garden provides quite a lot of food.

next thing is I dont even want a car. nothing. I can walk or take a bike. things arent far if you live in the city. so even my future kids can walk to school. but when I go somewhere, I take a train and that happens every two weeks. so I really dont spend that much money on transportation.

internet is cheap, I mean whats 20€ and I get everything? all the fun with games and movies and chating with my friends. I dont even use the phone and TV. and computers dont spend so much electricity.
