How can something be "new," that is, it never existed before, and at the same time "improved" implying that it DID exist previously?

I graduated in early 2006 with a degree in Journalism, and I have had a VERY difficult time finding interviews. I hunt daily, have gotten my resume and cover letters reviewed and raved about, and while they tell me I was wonderful in the interview, someone else came up that was a more perfect fit. I have currently given up on Journalism for the time being, I just want to get my foot in the door with any company to get experience and work up the ladder, basically. I have even tried to contact a temp/employment agency and even THEY haven't gotten back to me. I need help...getting very depressing coming on nearly a year and a half of searching. Again, it doesn't have to be in Journalism...I'd just rather it not be in sales. Just a regular office job. My strong points are mainly writing, analyzing, reading, customer service. I have already worked as a receptionist, an accounts receivable clerk, a manager, and a supervisor before.

I am hosting a Casino Night Fundraiser for American Cancer Society and I wanted to offer a safe place to sell tickets on for free or a reduce rate/processing fee. And could this site issue the printed tickets to the buyers for us?

I sell my own limited edition prints and canvases and am struggling to sell them from my site: www.jamfrogphotography.co.uk. If you have any comments and suggestions of things which you think could do with improving ie; shopping facility, content, navigation etc, it would be much appreciated!

The wesbite is PCconnection, I bought a product, then when they didn't ship the product and I asked about it, they sent me this email:

Due to an unforeseen problem in data transmission, erroneous pricing appeared on our website on several products. Our system was unable to process any orders for those products due to those pricing errors and consequently, your order was cancelled as a result. These incorrect prices have now been corrected. We're sorry that we're unable to fill your order at the pricing that was listed. If you're still interested in the product(s) at the correct price(s), please respond to this e-mail indicating so. We'll be happy to fill the order with no freight charge.

Don't they have to have to sell the product at the listed price?

Thanks

Currently, I work in a very small automobile service business. We regularly send our loyal customers information regarding promotions.

Some of the more recent advertisements have included:

* Buy One Get One Free Oil Change

* 10% Off Labor Over $100

* Winter Inspection (for a small flat fee)

We also have ongoing rewards for customer referrals. In addition, we often provide gift certificates for local fundraisers and cross-promotions with neighborhood businesses.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how we can reward our current customers?

What would be the best way, do you think, to market tobacco to young children? I think the tobacco companies are in a heap of trouble, what with the distorted view modern society now has of tobacco smoking. The only way they can come back is to appeal to the next generation. How migh they do so?

I own a fence company. I have a website, 800 #, and signage on my truck. The market price of fence has fallen to the natural price. Bigger companies suck up work at low prices, and try to make up for it in volume.
I did a home and garden show 2 weeks ago, and nothing has hit. I dont advertise in local papers or flyers, because most of my time will be wasted by price shoppers.
what is they best way to convey quality and service to the 20% of the market that wants it?
