I want to, also, be able to sell other items besides just atv's, etc., like dolls, 5 cent candy for kids, kind of like the old stores use to have, maybe some trinkets. I'm thinking of barstools, soda counter, etc. This is my deal - my husband loves dirtbikes and atv's. He can fix anything if you give him the parts. But, we already have two dirtbike/atv stores in a town that is so small we don't even have a stoplight in it (or a McD's, etc.) So, to make it less competitive like, I would like to make it more of a 5 and 10 or trading post, or whatever, and yes, make the atv part the main attraction, with sales and repairs. So please give me a good name because I need to have the sign made this week sometime and if you have any good ideas as to how to set up a store on a budget, (this is our first store), please include that, also. Please be imaginative and detailed. I want the very best and I know that means getting alot of people's ideas. THANKS!!

Is there anywhere on the internet or in north Texas where I can get custom imprinting/foil stamping/etc for a (photography) portfolio? The material is synthetic leather and it's 11x14". I already have the design I want on the front of it but I can't seem to find anywhere that will do this-I already have the portfolio picked out so I only need the imprinting. Or if anyone knows of a place to get a unique portfolio-with or without imprinting-that would be helpful too, everything I've found so far is a plain binder-type (that's why I'm looking for the imprinting). I prefer the 11x14 size but I think if I really like the design I will be flexible. Thanks in advance.

The seller eBay user id: surfer_roy Auction # 120088233225 has generated more than 500 bids that is currently at $17,000 He claims eBay is helping him with this auction. My question is.Is this a scam or test to see if you pay the final bid if you win?In his auction he explains how money has shaped our society and how we are greedy and how we can spend so much money for something so invaluable.He mentions morality and other religious notions.Ebay sellers who have these popular auctions get a lot of hits but you can never tell if they are real or what they are up to.I am amazed that he has a perfect 100% score.I am a seller too.I have bid up to $16,000.00 for this $50 GC. I know call me outrageous but I have played his game! i really need a job and i have been having such a hard time finding a family to work for! i thought of posting an ad in the newspaper but it's SO expensive 30$/week! :( I don't know if it's worth it.
I thought of doing it through an agency, but these ppl want me to submit a photo, which they will email to families looking for a babysitter....which i thought was stupid bcoz looks should not interfere with employment. so i am not sure if i wanna do that. am i being too picky concerning this photo issue?

Why "Sales Event" instead of just a "Sale"?
Years ago, auto dealerships would advertise "sales". A few years ago, the terminology changed to "sales event". Why did this change? Did some law or regulation change with regard to what auto dealers could legitimately call a sale or something?

My site has been active for almost a year now.

I sell baby gift baskets for all occasions, but am currently concentrating on new baby baskets until they start to pick up.

I also make and sell luxury birth announcement cards.

I am getting about 10 hits a day but in 10 months have made just 3 sales.

I have a links page which operates on an exchange basis and I subscribe to google addwords.

Is there anything I've missed that I can do to promote my site without forking out a load of money (since I'm running on a loss at the mo!)

I have a product that I would like featured on the "Oprah's Favorite Things" show. Understanding that the producers do not accept unscolicited packages at Harpo, I am assuming that they have some application process. I am looking for a way to get this application or any information.

I want to increase my knowledge in marketing. What are some good sources that explains newest trends and provide examples? Is there a site or a book that analyses marketing campaigns or strategies?

Spesifically I am looking for marketing info applicable to B2B (factory-dealer) environment.

I already know about basic principles and not interested in textbooks or reference books that talks about Marketing Mix, PEST, SMART etc. I am looking for examples, analysis and practical information. Samples of ground breaking marketing approaches. I do not want to read another book about coupons, mailings, prospecting etc.
