I agree with Kim. Modular homes are a big waste and you would be kicking yourself in the head if you bought one. I just purchased my first home last year and I already began remodeling little by little when the money is available. Just remember that everything takes time, you can't remodel your entire home in one year because it costs to much so live with what you have until you can remodel it just as I am doing. I am doing all the work myself without anyone helping me so right there saves me a ton of money. If you're handy you can do it too. Also think about this, if you and your fiance plan on having children and you purchase a modular home you won't have a yard for your children to play in. Good Luck & Have a wonderful wedding
