I can't see your site so can't give advice on it. But here is a marketing plan for you.
1) Make sure that your web site has been SEO'd (Search engine optimized)
2) Check your Gogle Adwords account to make sure that you are not advertising on keywords that are too wide - for example "gift baskets" . You are in a very competive market and the bid amounts will be very large. Go for the less obvious terms. Fine tune your ads and search terms at least once a month.
3)Design a basket that is unique to you. Write a press release about it and send it to PRWeb
4)Write at least 4 articles a month about the joy of receiving gift baskets etc. Place them on ezinearticles.com and articleshut.com ClickingBusiness.com has stacks of helpful information for you on how to do this.
5)Contact your local social clubs and tell them about your baskets. Offer to give a talk or present one as a prize (with your name on of course).
6)Design small baskets that could be "thank yous" to customers and tell local businesses about them.
Use your web site to display your baskets and put the web address on all correspondance. Your on and off site activities will gradually build up your traffic.
Banners don't work. You will need a good PR on your own site to get good links.

Small Business Marketing Strategy: Target the up-and-coming search engines
While Google still rules the roost when it comes to Internet search engines, and Yahoo is firmly entrenched in second spot, a number of new start-ups are hoping to give them a run for their money. And a good small business marketing strategy would be to check them out and see how you can make them work for your site!
Some of the new up-and-comers include:
Powerset (www.powerset.com): A "natural language" search engine
Hakia (www.hakia.com): A "meaning-based" search engine
Wikia(www.wikia.com): A "community-based" search engine
ChaCha(www.chacha.com): A "social networking-based" search engine
Snap (www.snap.com): A search engine that offers visual previews
It's a smart small business marketing strategy to continue optimizing for the Google, Yahoo, and MSN search engines as they are by far and away the most popular -- but niche search engines could provide new opportunities to reach your market. Be sure to check them out!

Get listed in diretories and do a lot of press work- good press is much more effective than advertising and is much cheaper! Use http://www.mediauk.com to find contacts if you're doing it yourself- search for baby-related publications then phone them up or check their websites to get relevant contact details. Then target them with your press releases. Keep an eye on the news to find current events to tie your products too- one example would be the Oscars £100000 goodie bag story. Papers covering that story may be interested in doing a goodie bag shopping guide.
If you're got the cash it'd be worth hiring a PR firm. Use the search facility at http://www.hollis-pr.com/ to find the best one for your business- one with experience in the consumer and childcare sectors. Alternatively you could hire a freelance PR (I am one currently) for a one-off sales push and pay them on a contract basis. Hope this helps.

I see you're doing online promotion, but what are you doing for offline promotion?
There are many free ways to advertise. One idea is that you can write a press release and send to a local newspaper.
If you would like to discuss this further, please email me.
