A car on wet streets is like a bright 3d object in a dark shadow box. Wet streets highlights the look of the preety car metalic /glossy colour.

Have you ever gone by a used car lot on a rainy night, and there are strings of lights all around the lot? The cars really look good, don't they? Then go back the next sunny day and look closely at the cars...pretty rough,huh?

To show the reflection of the car in the puddles. You get more car shown that way. Also it is a hiddend message for showing working hard/perspiring.
