I graduated in early 2006 with a degree in Journalism, and I have had a VERY difficult time finding interviews. I hunt daily, have gotten my resume and cover letters reviewed and raved about, and while they tell me I was wonderful in the interview, someone else came up that was a more perfect fit. I have currently given up on Journalism for the time being, I just want to get my foot in the door with any company to get experience and work up the ladder, basically. I have even tried to contact a temp/employment agency and even THEY haven't gotten back to me. I need help...getting very depressing coming on nearly a year and a half of searching. Again, it doesn't have to be in Journalism...I'd just rather it not be in sales. Just a regular office job. My strong points are mainly writing, analyzing, reading, customer service. I have already worked as a receptionist, an accounts receivable clerk, a manager, and a supervisor before.

Check out www.guru.com for great freelance jobs. I own my own marketing agency out here in the west coast but I'm partnered with a public relations firm in NYC .

Maybe try applying to PR agencies to be a writer for press releases to gain some business experience.

How about The Vanguard Group. I worked there for 7 years and felt they treated there employees well. I left after having my second child. I decided to be a stay at home mom.

ultimately somebody that concurs with me. i'm from CT and the adult adult males there are very sturdy looking. Then once you notice adult adult males from massive apple, NJ and dad they're much greater good-looking. i like adult adult males from up north. i won't have the capacity to attend to return to CT.
