The wesbite is PCconnection, I bought a product, then when they didn't ship the product and I asked about it, they sent me this email:

Due to an unforeseen problem in data transmission, erroneous pricing appeared on our website on several products. Our system was unable to process any orders for those products due to those pricing errors and consequently, your order was cancelled as a result. These incorrect prices have now been corrected. We're sorry that we're unable to fill your order at the pricing that was listed. If you're still interested in the product(s) at the correct price(s), please respond to this e-mail indicating so. We'll be happy to fill the order with no freight charge.

Don't they have to have to sell the product at the listed price?

Thanks

There was a big case about a simmilar situation in the UK.

There is a situation called "invitation to treat" which means that the offer to sell you an item ins an invitation - their is no obligation to complete the sale on the part of the retailer.

Every business has a responsibility to truth in advertising. If you were in a "brick & mortar" store, they would be required to sell at the price marked.
They should be bound by the same rules.
Good Luck!

a regular store would have to

so, i think a website should too---they are the idiots who made the mistake in the first place---maybe they need to go back to grade school and learn how to type and do basic arithmetic LOL

I think so. The price they stated is the price you should be able to pay...the problem lies with them.
