...experience, etc.
I am a soon-to-be graduating marketing student looking for a corporate-type marketing job and trying to prepare myself...how to write a resume, cover letter, how to talk in an interview, etc. and really understanding what an employer wants will help me a lot in the process.
Thanks a lot :)

Hi, Can't find anything online to help. Trying to determine whether "credit" is considered singular (thereby using the word "towards") or plural (thereby using the word "toward") or is it an exception.

Sentance is: Receive a credit towards closing.

Thank you!

Hi,
Around 5 years ago (I was only 16) I thought of the name "Romantique Interiors" as a good name for my future business. I even decided to buy the domain name, which expired last year.

Yesterday, I just did a google search, and found this article:

http://www.valorieburton.com/success.htm...

It has a woman talking about her business, which is the same name as the one I had thought of! When I initially thought of the name, nothing existed online with "Romantique" and "Interiors" in a phrase together. AND now the domain I once had is taken.

From research I've done, Romantique Interiors has not been trademarked. And Im not entirely sure that this woman is now the owner of the domain I once had. So, should I try to get this name trademarked, and if succesfull, possibly purchase the domain back from the current holder? Advice please!

I need to find a place where I can print square magnets. The size of the magnet doesn't matter as long as it is square (not rectangle). I need them to cost less than $1 each. I've found a lot of places that will do that, but most of them require you to buy 300-500, and I don't want to spend more than $50 on this total. Thanks.

I would like to charge a drink company to advertise on my nightclub website. It is 4 month old, and already well placed in search engines. Last month we had 14 900 page loads and 2900 unique visitors.

I was thinking or creating some kind of bidding wars between drink companies to get the best price I possibly can but my partner think they may not respond well to this kind of strategy and proposes to ask for a fee and wait for a positive answer from one of them.

If it isn't clear already, only one drink company will be advertising on my site (exclusivity).

What do you think the best strategy would be?
If you think we should ask for a fixed fee, what kind of price range you think we should ask for?

Thank you in advance for any informed answers.

The company I work for is a really neat manufacturer. The products we have are simple to use but the only problem is, is that they don't come with easy to look at instructions. Can anyone recommend an advertising company that specializes in coming in and doing product instructions?

For school we're starting a class company. We're going to be selling coffee cup holders in the shape of small chairs. The small chairs will have a hole in the middle of the seat, so the cup rests above the table and snugly into the hole.

We just have a problem with thinking of the name. Nothing stupid like Cup Holders inc. okay?

Hi I am trying to choose between creating a blog OR creating an online newsletter so I can build a relationship with prospective customers BEFORE I introduce my product.

This is a niche market with zero newsletters available for this specific market! Blogs are also very thin in this area

There is a certain Furniture company that says they don't sell! Yet they have buyers! Nothing I ever seen from them ever said sold. Somethings papers said paid. If they don't sell they must be renting the items. People get from them and think they own the stuff but they probably only paid rent for the stuff. That's the only way I know that there can be a buyer and no seller! Not mentioning Name of company as that could cause a U know what to happen! Email me for name of company if U wish! The Furniture company I am talking about advertises that they don't sell more often than those that do advertise that they sell!
I can't trust a company that says they don't sell! Can U?

Phone booth wants $1 for a loca l call. (Used to be 10¢ not long ago). I thought it was a sound marketing principle that when something is not in demand (more ppl use cell phones than phone booths) you LOWER the price, not RAISE it. What's up with phone company logic??

What do you think the characters in the Rozerem ad symbolize? I think Abe Lincoln represents status, the deep-sea diver represents adventure/conquest, and the beaver represents, well, sex, of course! LOL....What's your interpretation?

My buddy and I are going to start a "handyman" business specializing in hard to do jobs like flooring, decks, electrical, drywalling, and your basic remodeling(ex. shelving, painting, light fixtures, etc.). We are having trouble trying to find the "perfect" name. Some stuff that might help you think of a name: We are both hard workers, we are both married, he is tall and skinny and I am average height and weight, we've been friends for 13 years, we are experienced in the work we do, and we really want to focus on decks and flooring.
