Hi, Can't find anything online to help. Trying to determine whether "credit" is considered singular (thereby using the word "towards") or plural (thereby using the word "toward") or is it an exception.

Sentance is: Receive a credit towards closing.

Thank you!

Journalists follow AP (Associated Press) style for their written work. According to the official AP Style Guide, you should always use "toward" never "towards".
