First of all, I am extremely creative. If this is a real contest, I won't be giving you my ideas here so you can steal them and win first prize. I'll give you a few hints though.
#1 - I don't drink coffee.
#2 - I don't think people care what's on their coffee cups because they aren't looking at them anyway.
#3 - All they care about is the quality of the coffee in the cup.

I would put a before/after picture of someone on the cup. The before coffee picture with hair a mess and in pajamas looking completely terrible. The after picture with a supremely put together person smiling and alert holding a cup of coffee. This would make me laugh and identify with the person on the cup. Heaven knows that this image represents me.
