Well…..Market Segmentation is not really the same thing as Target Audience which is what oldguy is talking about.
Market segmentation is where you take a robust piece of research (TGI would be a good example) and cross tabulate buyers of your product (or a rival product or purchaser of products in the category) and see what traits they share (usually attitudinal).
This is then further broken down into subgroups allowing you to finely target your audience in terms of how, when and where you should be communicating with them.
So you can only guess at the Target Audience as oldguy has based on where, when and how they are advertising and the nature of their communication. The only way to know about segmentation would be to talk to someone with access to the research.
