I bought an item at Wal-Mart in a nearby city where the sales tax is higher than in my city. I returned this item in my city. When I was given my refund, I was given the sales tax for the city I live in, not the city that I bought the item in. Does anyone know if I should have been refunded the sales tax that I paid since it was higher?

Hi, I am an Inventor and I have an invention for you that will bring a lot of interest to you. My invention is a Wireless Battery Charger for Electric Automobiles. The way the Wireless Battery Charger will function is in order to get its charge, you will have to plug the wireless charger into the built in charger in the consumer's garage. There will be a special component in the built in charger in their garage that will charge the wireless battery charger. Now, the top electric car companies have a built in battery charger in the car that charges the car by plugging in the chord into an outlet. They don’t have the built into the ground charger in their garage. So you will still use the built in charger in their car, but whenever you see that the battery is wearing out, then will the consumer plug in the Wireless Battery Charger to recharge the battery in the car. For these types of cars, you will still have a built into the ground charger to charge the wireless battery charger, but you will not use this specific charger to charge the car like the other cars, because they have a built in battery charger. Therefore when this invention is made reality, the electric car will forever be mobile. I have spoken to a legitimate Physicist and he said that my invention is highly feasible and by looking at my prototype, he said was ready to be made. So, I know it can be made, but I can’t manufacture it, because of my financial situation, and that is why I wish to sell my patent to your company.
The lifespan of the wireless battery charger is approximately five years, so the consumer will have to purchase another one in the next five years, but that’s better than constantly paying for the high gas prices. Now, your probably wondering how is this wireless charger going to fit in the car. Well, I have already thought that out. Where the trunk is, there will be a separate space beneath the trunk to place the wireless battery charger in. There will be an area that will slide out like a dresser to place the charger. After you put it in, you will slide the slot in and lock it for security. When the charge is wearing out from the charge of the built in charger or the charger in the consumer's garage, then you will use the wireless battery charger to recharge the battery. I think to make it easy for the consumer to use the wireless battery charger; there will be a button of some kind that will be built into the front of the car preferably near the radio that will automatically charge the battery when the consumer is ready. Then the car will forever be mobile. I have already made a prototype and I showed it to the Physicist that I was talking to and he said it is ready to be made.

Now, just like the leading electric car company’s automobiles go about 220 miles per charge, so will the wireless battery charger. You see, this invention is literally a revolution and it will make you a lot of money. So Trust me, you will want to buy this invention, because this invention will revolutionize society. Who wants to pay for high gas prices and they are still increasing. Also, this invention will dramatically decrease the level of pollution in our world which is increasing global warming. So, not only will you help society by buying this invention, it will also make you billions of dollars. The consumers who buy cars will jump at your new car if they knew they would be mobile forever without paying for gas. Your investment is so worth this invention. It is a completely new invention and there is no threatening competition for this invention. The total market size is at least about a trillion dollar business, literally. I really want to see my product on the market, because I know it will help this world in so many ways. If you want to contact me you can call my phone or leave me an e-mail. I’m always available and even when I’m not, I will return your call as soon as possible. Thank you for reading and have a nice day!

I have worked in a call center for about a year now. There are three of us women (over 50), who are getting ripped off..when we started, we got $9.00 an hour..and have gotten very low raises, not even a dollar an hour more, yet..The people they are hiring now are of a different ethnic group; that are starting out at higher wages, even more then we are receiving right now. There is no reason besides the fact they are of a different decent..is there anyway we can file a discrimantion law suit..it is not fair..we have to work our butts off ten times harder..this is all causing me health problems.Since I've worked there, my blood pressure has gone up, I have depression, and my asthma has gotten worse...Please help me..or us we would like to be treated fairly!!

In the midst of going to school and work, there's the water bill, the electric bill, the gas bill, the car insurance bill, the credit card bills-and all these bills inevitably find themselves on my table in disarray.

My dear cousin purchased an organizer (a box w/ compartments) so as I received my mail I could put my bills in the organizer. Unfortunately the box now has accumulated cobwebs and dust! lol

Tell me, how do you organize things so that you still pay your bills on time and manage everything else financially speaking? When do you find time to do this?

I used to see ads in the paper a lot for sleeping rooms. It's not an apartment; it's a room within someone's house. I think it's kind of an old concept. They were for single people like old maids who wanted somewhere to live, but couldn't afford an apt. I moved back to my hometown and have had trouble finding enough work to afford an apt. I have two part-time jobs, and could afford a sleeping room. I could have my meals with the owners or cook on my own. Yet, I've been checking the classifieds, and don't see any listings. What happened to sleeping rooms? People surely still rent out parts of their houses these days, right? I know people who live in the upstairs of old houses, but those are apts., and are pretty crappy. Should I place my own ad? I'm just sick of living with my family. I'd rather live with strangers.

So I'm 14 and I'm 5'4 and i've been looking into modeling. I know that i'm WAY too short to runway model because you've got to be what...atleast 5'7? hah. And i doubt I'll grow that much, SO, I've been thinking about doing commerical modeling. How would I go about that? I live about an hour from Philadelphia near Lehigh Valley...how do I find jobs? I really don't know if it would be worth getting an agent yetbecause I don't really know a whole lot about the field and I know they're a heckof a lot of money, and I don't know if it's 'for me' yet, ya know? So how do I find jobs near me without an agent? I know I would have to get headshots and that's not a problem, what else do I need to do? Also, am I too SHORT for commerical? I know that 5'4 isn't incredibly short...but you never know. Any help would be great. Thanks!

He has education up to first class bachelors degree (civil engineering) from India.

Now, in the UK he only has experience in the labour manufacturing sector, but since last Christmas after a minor car accident, he cannot purse work in this sector.

Now, at 50+ years of age, he is finding it difficult to find a job due to lack of experience of any other sector.

He is looking to do something full time, maybe something office based. He has good organisation skills and has basically self taught himself to be very good with computing (he's achieved ECDL and is pursuing ECLD advanced for qualifications). But no-one seems to want to give him a go!!!

He doesn't have the money to start up something from scratch and has tried agencies (even 50+ specialist ones) but lack of experience and age seems to put him at a disadvantage everywhere!

Any ideas or advice out there?! (Seriously, because believe me, he is trying so hard!)

WE WANT TO START PAYING OURSELVES OUT BUT ARE NOT SURE HOW...WE HAVE ONE EMPLOYEE ALREADY WHO GETS PAID THROUGH QUICKBOOKS PAYROLL. I HAVE READ SOMETHING ABOUT OWNER'S DRAW, BUT AM NOT SURE IF I SHOULD BE PAYING MYSELF AND PARTNER THROUGH PAYROLL WITH TAXES TAKEN OUT OR JUST A REGULAR COMPANY CHECK...? ALSO, IF WE PAY OURSELVES WITH A COMPANY CHECK AND WAIT TO HAVE THE TAXES TAKEN OUT, HOW DO WE SHOW PROOF OF INCOME? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE SO GREATLY APPRECIATED, AS WE ARE BOTH IN OUR EARLY 20'S AND HONESTLY HAVE VERY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT TAX ISSUES.
