I own a house in Indiana. I live in Wisconsin. I had a house on the market but cause the market is bad I decided to rent it. Found a renter. Made a trip with my wife to get all our furniture out and clean up (500-600$) to get ready for the tenant to move in. He met us at the house to make sure it was what he wanted. He said yeah lets do it. The next week he signs a year lease with security deposit and first months rent check.

He gets to the house and for whatever reason calls us up and says that the house is a mess and doesnt know if he wants to do this. Cause its so messy. I said you were there last week it was clean what are you talking about. So I have my neighbor go over and meet him to take pictures of what he is complaining about. She sent pics of some very minor things like things on the stove under the electric coils that weren't like polished metal. Really ridiculous stuff. So obviously he just wants to get out of the lease. Should I just let him leave the deal?

I have the real connection on how to get that whole amount owed. Your responsibility for the house will end and you'll get all your money. This is a definite "no-catch" offer.

I have a kid and I make very little money. My mom pays for my rent (though she lives somewhere else). If I'm filing as an independent this year, do I include money from my mom as income? If I don't count these contributions, I'd be eligible for Medicaid. Also I work from home so the rent could be written off as a work expense.

Ok over two years ago, I fell for a magazine scam over the phone(well I had to answer the phone because they kept calling at 10pm even 1AM!!!!!!!) so I fell for it and well my debit card was hot carded so I cancelled it. Two years later I went to get another one at the bank I had my first debit card, and well the lady said that I can't get another debit card because of what I did and it'll have to be approved by the committee. I told her that alot of people fell for that magazine scam it wasn't just me. She also said that she recommends I don't purchase anything online.

The only store I purchase from is Amazon and it is a SAFE site! so if I purchase online will she take my debit card away?

I didn't know bankers punish people who fell for a scam. who also shops very intelligently online. EVen smart people fell for this scam!

Im 20 and figured it would be good to begin saving for a house. My Unrealistic goal is to save a grand total of upto 300k. My parents would probably pay about 30k and my grandparents would probably give me the same. That aside I was wondering what kinds of things I should look for in buying a house and any budgeting tips that could help. I already have a bank account that I deposit half of my already miniscule paychecks into devoted specifically to this cause. Thanks for any + all help!

I am interested in nursing as a second career. I already work in a hospital and I love the environment and I love working with patients. Switching to nursing would also mean a big jump in my salary.

As I already have a BA and will soon have an MA in another field, I am interested in an accelerated BSN degree. These usually take 14 months.

Because I owe so much for school already I really do not want to borrow any more. What are the options for getting an accelerated degree funded? Do schools offer full scholarships? Are there future employers who will pay back all of my loans since there is a shortage of nurses?

How can I find out about my financial options? I paid a lot for my Master's and don't want to make the same mistake again.

I opened a personal line of credit with the bank, but didn't realize what it was. I was thinking to close it, however, I was told that it would make my credit report look bad if I did that. Is it good to have a personal line of credit, if you are not thinking to use it anytime soon. I'm not to sure how that works. Thanks for any advise.

BAC, DB, IMB, WB, HNP, GXP, SO, KMP, NAT, PFE, ACAS, ACH, BXA, DBY. They all get better than 3% dividends, but some should grow in value more rapidly than others. I'm also considering CVX, IMKTA, and a couple of others that don't get good dividends but have high growth.
