Basically, if you have to pay to start, ask yourself this question:
Is it a business or a job?
If it's a job, then it is a scam.
It's a business where you are the boss - similar to starting your own branch - then there will probably be a start up cost. This usually includes setting you up as an independent contractor for taxes and a starter sales kit.
