I have two credit cards I have only had for a few months and with one of them I get a credit report every month and it says it is not available for me to show I have any credit til 6 months.

I want to try to lease a car next summer so it will be over 6 months but does it take a long time for me to be in the "good" credit stance? I am using around 30% available credit and paying it off every month

Do you have money to cover bills, and some fun stuff but can't go splurge on a wall flat screen tv?

Well, this girl I know just moved, and just bought a new tv, a new house, and she's all bragging about stuff.

I'm 26 with 2 kids and a husband and we live in a trailer, and have 2 cars there both old, 1990's, and he has a good job but we don't even have that much in savings, and we hardly ever go out.

Do you feel like me, or are you bragging like the girl?

Posting for a friend.

She is recently divorced, have child together. Her ex and her didnt pay taxes for a few years. After the divorce they were working to get it all cleared up. Recently they had some money come in and they had to cash the check together. In the bank he told her they were garnishing his wages and he needed the whole sum of the check to pay back taxes. He had no proof of this. She gave him the money on good faith. Now, her wages are being garnished. She has asked him for reciepts and proof of the taxes being paid. He cannot furnish anything legit.

How can she go about finding out what they have owed over the time they didnt pay. What was paid if anything and when it was paid?

Is there any advantage to permanent insurance over term insurance or vis versa? I mean, basically it looks like term is the better deal because I can buy more death benefit for a lot less money, but permanent insurance gives me money with a death benefit. I'm in my late 40's, have a wife and 2 kids, normal bills, mortgage, etc. Does anyone have any opinions about what is really the better deal long term?

I have a problem here. Anyone who knows how to fix this, please let me know.
I sold an item to a buyer on eBay. Buyer paid (but did not opt for insurance). I packed nicely and shipped as usual. Unfortunately, there was something bad happened during the delivery. The package arrived to buyer damaged and out of shape. Was unable to file claim with post office (since no insurance was bought). I offered to share a portion of loss with the buyer but the buyer wanted more. I refused and now the buyer went to file chargeback with credit card. Is that reasonable? Will Paypal send me the chargeback? Can I fight back? What can I do to protect myself? At the beginning I set the insurance as optional. However, the buyer did not take the option and now the buyer do not want to take the loss. What shall I do?

I was going to consolidate two credit card onto a new lower interest card and cancel the old cards. However, I was informed that closing the old cards would not look favorably on my credit report. I thought this was strange as good credit reflects on your credit report for 10 years and keepin the old card open whould make your debt ratio higher. Can someone explain this to me?

I work for a corporation that leases part of the land where our store is. The guy that owns the land wants to sell it and is basically trying to force us to buy it. He has went through a local realty company and they are putting up for sale "real estate only" signs. I am thinking about going out and taking them down because it takes away from out business. It could also lead people to believe that we are going out of business. To sum it up... We are a corporation, this is commercial property and the lease won't be up for about a year. Any advice?

My fiance, me, and our new born son Hayden live with my fiances parents to catch up on some bills for a year. We did live with his parents in a rented house for a while and then the land lord decided that he wanted to move back in so he pretty much broke the lease and kicked us out. We all moved into a new house on Sept. 1st. I was pregnant at the time trying to get the house ready for our little one on the way. My son was born on the 20th and we just now got everything together and we are settled in. Last night we find out that the land lord of this house just commited suicide and now the bank is taking over the house and we have to move out of here by November 1st. I realize that the bank now owns the house but we all signed a lease for 1 year. Does that mean nothing now?? I am soooo upset and cant stop crying. This is the worst timing. Is there anything we can do. We really dont want to move.

We live in Indiana if that helps!!
